Humans need food, water, shelter, clothing, and community. Most of us learn about community through our families, and then our schools, neighbors, and other social connections. But frienships are more than social connections. Friendships are the glue that keeps our psyche in check, supports the highs and the lows in our lives, and are important for social and emotional growth and wellbeing.

Not all friendships are alike. Some are better than others. You probably have evidence of that in your own life. Take a moment to count your closest friends and think of how your friendship came about.

Now think about your child, or any child and how they might develop their own friendships. We craft activities and learning events that are both structured, and unstructured to help children meet and make better connections with potential friends.
